Prepared before a trowel is lifted
Floors sheeted, sockets and skirtings protected, loose material cut back and edges beaded. Most callbacks on plastering come from poor preparation, not poor spreading, so preparation gets the time it needs.

About RGP
RGP is Ryan Glenn; the man who quotes your job is the man who plasters it. Homes across Glasgow and the surrounding towns, finished flat, finished clean, and handed back ready to decorate.
Free, no-obligation quotes, usually answered the same day.
The Story
Ryan Glenn has spent 22 years plastering, the last 10 of them self-employed under RGP. That matters for a simple reason: the person who walks through your door to price the work is the same person who sheets your floors, mixes the plaster and sets the finish. Nothing is passed to a squad you have never met, and no standard slips between the quote and the job.
The customers are homeowners and landlords, mainly in Glasgow and the towns around it: people mid-renovation, people who have just pulled a chimney breast out, people whose ceiling has come down after a leak, and people getting a property straight before it goes on the market. Most jobs are one room to a full house, which is exactly the size of work a one-man operation does best.
The specialism is interior plastering and decorative finishing: skimming and re-skimming, dry lining and dot and dab, ceiling repairs, coving and cornice work, Artex covering and removal, overboarding, patch repairs and full house refurbishments. It is internal plaster work only: no rendering or external finishes.
The service area runs across Glasgow, Paisley, Rutherglen, Bearsden, Clydebank, Bishopbriggs, Cambuslang, Renfrew and Newton Mearns. If your postcode sits just outside that list, it is still worth asking, most of the surrounding area is workable from a base in the south-west of the city.
Mission & Standards
Plastering is judged in one second, from the doorway, in daylight. The whole approach is built around that moment: get the preparation right, work to a flat finish, protect the house while it happens, and leave with the room cleaner than a lot of people expect.
Floors sheeted, sockets and skirtings protected, loose material cut back and edges beaded. Most callbacks on plastering come from poor preparation, not poor spreading, so preparation gets the time it needs.
Walls and ceilings are checked with a light held along the surface before the final trowel pass, because that is where hollows and trowel lines show. You should be able to hang a mirror or run a straight edge without finding a dip.
Waste is bagged and taken away, floors swept, and you get straight advice on drying times and mist coats so the decoration does not lift the finish you have just paid for.
Free, no-obligation quotes, usually the same day. The quote covers materials, labour, protection and removal of waste, so the figure agreed is the figure you pay unless you change the scope.
Every job carries a 1–2 year workmanship guarantee. If the workmanship fails within that period, Ryan comes back and puts it right. The business also carries £1 million public liability cover, so your property is protected while work is under way. Here is exactly what that covers, and what it does not, so there are no surprises later.
